Are you not seeing anything in the system menu when you double click the contact sink icon? Please try pressing F9 to show all open windows after running the program, as sometimes the auto update dialog goes into the background. If the above instruction do not help, please try running the program called "console" (its included with your OSX installtion) which shows the system logs.
